Dear colleagues,
We are partnering with Enterprise Vanpool to host a series of meet-ups for potential vanpool riders who live in Walnut Creek area. This should make it easier to form vanpools with your Walnut Creek friends and neighbors who also work (or soon will!) at the LBNL main campus.
Enterprise Vanpool offers $350 per month subsidies for vanpools, and we are reaching out to Lab staff who live in Walnut Creek to bring potential riders together. While the meetings are organized by zip code, you are welcome to attend any of them.
The meet-ups will be in room 149A at JGI Building 100 at 2800 Mitchell Dr. in Walnut Creek. The meeting times by zip code are:
10 a.m.: 94595/ 94596 (South Walnut Creek)
10:30 a.m.: 94597 (North Walnut Creek)
11 a.m.: 94598 (East Walnut Creek)

If you are interested in joining a Walnut Creek vanpool but are not able to attend the meet-ups, we have set up a vanpool for each of the Walnut Creek zip codes in Zimride. Log in with your Lab credentials and select the vanpool that interests you. If the times listed don’t meet your needs you can create your own vanpool in Zimride. You will be automatically notified when your vanpool has been formed.
