Special Service

* We ask that Special Shuttle Services Requests be submitted 3 weeks in advance *

To arrange special service shuttle transportation:

• Fill out the request form – A confirmation will be sent back via email to the requestor regarding the status.
• (Please Note) Requests are filled on a first come first served basis. If we are unable to fulfill your request we recommend Phoenix Transportation. Please be aware that pricing through Phoenix is higher and you will need to budget accordingly. • Expect an email confirmation of receipt of the request within 24-48 hours of submittal of the initial Special Shuttle Services request. The email notification will contain either (1) acceptance of service and scheduling or, (2) a referral to an outside vendor for shuttle service scheduling (see Please Note area above for referral company information). 
  
• If your Special Shuttle Services request was approved by RydeTrans, and you received a confirmation email, your next email contact will occur two (2) business days prior to the requested service date. (Example: If you requested services on July 19th, you would receive a follow-up email on July 17th—unless that day falls on a weekend, then your request would be sent out on the earliest business day). 
• The driver and shuttle details will be sent out via email one (1) day or 24 hours prior to the scheduled event. You should receive an email containing a manifest that details the driver’s name and contact information as well as the details of the service (pick up and drop off areas, time, location, etc). The manifest will have some details to be completed by the requestor and will need to be returned to RydeTrans at the end of the service.

LBNL large and small shuttles are available for special service by reservation. Costs are:

• Large shuttle – $98.52/hour + $5.10/mile – required 2 hour minimum
• Small Shuttle – $95.21/hour + $5.10/mile – required 2 hour minimum

  
30 passengers (up to 2 wheelchair passengers)
