Despite the rain, the Centennial Tree Removal Project is primarily on schedule. The crews are working down Centennial Drive from Grizzly Peak Boulevard to Memorial Stadium to remove trees that could be a hazard if they fell and blocked access during an emergency.
Centennial Drive will have one lane open from 9 a.m. until approximately 3 p.m. every weekday during the project, which means traffic delays of between ten and 15 minutes.
Due to one lane always being available, the Orange shuttle will go back to its normal route in and out Strawberry Gate beginning Tuesday, Dec. 17.
Both Grizzly and Strawberry Gates will be accessible during their normal hours during the project which is scheduled to wrap up in middle to late January.
