Purpose
The LBNL reserved time-limited parking spaces program is designed to allow staff to have a guaranteed, short-term parking space when needed and to allow several people to use the same space throughout a given day. Anyone with a regular hours parking permit can reserve a space using a Zoom feature.
Eligibility
- Anyone with a LBNL regular hours parking permit valid on the day of the reservation may book a time-limited space. However, reservations must be made with an LBNL LDAP.
- Guests, visitors, and government vehicles are not eligible to reserve time-limited spaces.
- Carpoolers are eligible to reserve time-limited spaces. However, each vehicle is limited to two hours or four hours per day, depending on the designated signage for each space. Carpoolers are encouraged to use designated carpool spaces.
- Staff and affiliates with ADA placards are eligible to reserve time-limited spaces. However, most spaces are not ADA compliant and the time-limit will still be enforced. ADA placard holders are encouraged to use ADA designated parking.
