Bike to Wherever 2022

Several Lab employees celebrated Bike to Wherever Day (formerly Bike to Work Day) on or near May 20 by bicycling throughout the Bay Area and as far away as Bend, Oregon.

Alec Donahue, left went on a fun ride with Tony Smith and Julia Baugh up Skyline to Grizzly Peak.

Eliot Crowe rode his mountain bike through 18 miles of trails in Bend, Oregon last weekend. “It was EPIC!” Eliot reports.

Antoine Wojdyla rides his electric bicycle to the Lab almost every day, about a five-mile journey. Occasionally, he puts his regular bicycle – nicknamed Betty Blue Too – on a Lab shuttle and bicycles back home. Antoine is with Security Guard José at Strawberry Gate.

Jerome Deshaies, is a new employee at the Lab who is looking for others who want to get out on their bicycles. This weekend Jerome bicycled to the top of the Lab campus and around Grizzly Peak.
