Lab parking is free of charge for eligible staff and affiliates, with privileges integrated directly into your Lab badge — but certain spots are reserved for specific purposes. Here’s what you should know before you park:
- Green Circle: Reserved exclusively for Lab leadership; requires a physical green circle permit.
- ADA-Designated Spaces: Reserved for those with a valid permit issued as a reasonable accommodation by the Lab’s Integrated Disability Absence Management (IDAM) Office and/or those with a DMV-issued Disabled Person Parking Placard or License Plate.
- Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging: Reserved for vehicles displaying an EV charging permit; reservations required.
- Government Vehicles: Reserved for vehicles with license plates issued by the federal government or the State of California.
